My name is Dan and I’m a Sr. software engineer. I spend most of my time designing and building software applications in Domino, Java, and VB. My job is interesting to say the least. I’m currently tasked with organizing our development procedures, design documentation procedures, mentoring in Java development and VB development, and at the same time building and completing my own applications.

This blog then is my way of organizing the things I read and learn and hopefully by sharing them I can help you too.

• myEclipse - an excellent add-in for the Eclipse. For $52.95 per user this tool will save you from maintaining the countless Eclipse plug-ins you might need, they’re all included.
• IBM Lotus Notes 7.0.2
• TopStyle Pro for CSS Development
• Macromedia DreamWeaver mx 2004 for my Web Development. I know its old but it works well.

Software: Browsers

• Firefox - A great browser and with the plug-ins a great development tool
• Plug-ins
  • Web Developer Tool bar
  • Firebug
  • IE Tab - This opens an IE tab in Firefox

Graphics

• Pixie - A free color picker tool
